International Agreements

International Partners

To promote international education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the University, through the Office of International Programs, has developed a network of relationships with international partner institutions. These exchange relationships encourage our students to study abroad, attract international students and faculty to our campus, and enable our faculty to teach and conduct collaborative and individual research at institutions abroad. Our goal is to develop and cultivate relationships that support our broad institutional and international mission through creating and maintaining a worldwide set of partners that will be utilized by our campus community.

The process for developing new international partnerships at UNC Charlotte is described and governed by the University’s International Exchange Agreement Procedure. If you are interested in discussing or exploring the creation of a new exchange agreement, please arrange a meeting with Joël Gallegos, Associate Provost for International Programs (to make an appointment, contact the Office of International Programs at international@charlotte.edu or 704‑687‑7755).
