Erasmus+ KA171 Mobility Grant for Incoming Teaching and Training Staff
UNC Charlotte’s Office of International Programs, in cooperation with our long-standing partner, the University of Cantabria (UC), are pleased to announce a travel grant opportunity for UNC Charlotte faculty or staff to spend 5 days at the UC to participate in teaching or training activities in the fields of Education, Economics, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
Training – The visit will have a duration of 5 working days + 2 days for travel. A wide range of activities may be undertaken, including participation in UC workshops, practical training, job shadowing experiences, practical skills acquisition, etc. These activities can take place between Fall 2025 but must be concluded by April 2, 2027.
Teaching – The visit will have a duration of 5 working days + 2 days for travel and it is mandatory to teach 8 hours in courses that are part of an official degree program in accordance with the fields referenced above. Previous approval of an academic contact in the UC at the same area is required. It is possible to participate in a combined mobility (teaching + training) with a minimum number of teaching hours of 4 hours.
Please note that this program does not allow attendance at conferences and professional meetings within the framework of the grant.

Support for grant recipients includes:
- €170/day (lodging and per diem)
- Travel support of €1,188.00
Expenses not covered by the above amounts will be the responsibility of the grant recipient and/or their sponsoring UNC Charlotte department.
