International Speaker Series: Nicole Bintner-Bakshian, Ambassador of Luxembourg to the United States

On February 26, 2025, the Office of International Programs hosted H.E. Nicole Bintner-Bakshian, Luxembourg’s Ambassador to the United States, for its International Speaker Series. Ambassador Bintner-Bakshian shared insights from her distinguished career in foreign affairs, spanning decades and continents. Her wide-ranging experience includes diplomatic postings in Asia, leadership roles in Luxembourg and international organizations, and establishing Luxembourg’s presence in the Middle East and Africa.

Ambassador Bintner-Bakshian highlighted Luxembourg’s historical significance, its vital role in the EU, and the evolving relationship with the United States. Students had the opportunity to not only hear about her unique experiences, but also we able to ask questions about her role and what her viewpoint is on current foreign affairs.
